| His Story the Musical, is an epic adventure. The sweetest love story of our Father’s love for us, His people. His Song over us. This is a project that began in the Word and wove its heart into the thoughts of a young 18 year old girl, Anna Miriam Brown and her 15 year old sister, Rachel. Inspired by the musical, Hamilton, the sisters created a modern day take on a story as old as time. Through the Lord’s orchestration, and Anna’s expectant faith, musicians and artists from around the world gathered to make this idea happen. From the first bits of inspiration in Africa, to musical production in LA and Europe, and Hawaii; professionals from around the world have come together to bring Anna’s idea to life. It is a musical that makes its way through the vessels of song and instrument, and voice into the Hallelujah of our hearts, as we begin to see our own part in this story. |   |
 | When asked about the feelings and thoughts that Anna had when beginning this journey she replied; “The Lord stood with me and strengthened me, the Lord said to me; ‘I am going to stand with you and strengthen you so that this message can be preached and all the gentiles can hear it.’” She explains that this confirmation gave her strength, because even though she was scared before, she knew God would give her the strength to see this through. |

We see Him, see them. In so many ways, right through them.
Through lyrics weighted with a thousand burdens we see Him.
See the woman cast aside to be stoned, He kneels before her in the dust of the day, and all is still as she for the first time in her life is looked upon with Grace. Swimming in Grace.
For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
We see His promises everlasting. The same promises given to Hagar when she ran away, and Hannah as she sacrificed, and Abraham as he trusted, and Rahab as she waited, and Esther as she spoke out, and Moses as he led, and Daniel as he sat, and Mary as she sang, and Peter as he ran away.
The same promise He gave to Anna Brown to create this musical, and the same promises He gives to you.
All of this woven together, into a tapestry of His love.
Because
Still, He loves us. This is the message of His Story.
In our inequities, in spite of ourselves, and most of all because of ourselves.
He carries us back. He brings us out, and free us.
He looks at us, and sees our lives that were etched from the beginning, each moment, held in his hands.
May this story reveal His grace to you, His great unfathomable love. That where there may be hurt in your life, there will be healing, and where there is confusion, peace will reign stronger, and where there might be bitterness love will step in.

Jina Thompson and her husband, Patrick have been making their home on the island of Kauai since first meeting at a high school church youth group camp 25 years ago. They now have five amazing children, and are daily overwhelmed with God’s Grace and Love.
The Story Behind His Story

Gifted songwriter Anna Miriam Brown, 18, has written a musical production of the life of Jesus Christ with a sound many compare with the Hip-Hop of "Hamilton," emotional melodies of "Dear Evan Hansen," and orchestral beauty of Disney's "Alan Menken." HIS STORY will premiere on YouTube April 14th, and simultaneously be released as a soundtrack album on all digital audio platforms.
[Having dyslexia and being] unable to read or write before 9 years old, Brown majored early in the arts as a homeschooler, before starting to pen her first songs as a 15-year-old. During a missionary trip to Africa, she started to assemble the songs which would become the musical. As a teenager who understands the power of social media, Brown sees an opportunity to reach her generation with the timeless story of light and hope.
Music and recording professionals from around the world collaborated to produce His Story, including the legendary Wendy Waldman's Longhouse studio in LA, award-winning Christian singer Christine Dente' as editor and consultant, medalist Atom String Quartet in Europe, and noted creative genius producer and pianist Pawel Zarecki in Warsaw, Poland
Anna Miriam Brown sings the part of Mary. Gabriel Brown (AKA: Black Gryph0n), who provided voice talent on many movie and TV productions including Pixar's "Finding Dory" and has over a million subscribers on YouTube, sings the part of Peter, satan, an angel and a Pharisee. Jamal Moore sings the part of Jesus, who has performed on TV and toured extensively, and emotive LA native Revel Day opens up the title number rapping the part of Matthew.
A series of five singles from the musical have been released ahead of the premiere, which have been met with glowing comments from listeners. Linda Vivers writes, "These songs evoke emotions and I had tears while listening. They bring you into each character's fears, doubts, and excitement. Classical, Hip-Hop, rap, and Top40; a beautiful marriage of old and new style." About the single "Arrive," Ken Chan comments, "I'm agnostic, but this song is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait for the full release." HIS STORY is only the debut of many creative musical works by Anna Miriam Brown. She is already well along in writing yet another Biblical musical, as well as a full album of pop love songs, all of which carry her unique mark of lyrical deftness and "get stuck in your head" melodies which stir the heart.
