Spend time in the garden.  Grow something! 
Start with seeds.  Enjoy the harvest together.

Let the big sisters help with the new baby! Being a big sister is a joy and privilege.

Fill your home with good books and read together!
Help your daughter create her own library.

My girls love it when I play their games!
We play store together and even use real coins.

Let your children do homework or schoolwork outside. Encourage big sisters to help little ones.

Moms are the best teachers! Use learning toys, real tools, and games to build skills and knowledge. 

I want my kids to know that being their mom
 is the greatest joy of my life, and the most important job I will ever do!

Do science experiments in the kitchen. My girls love our big book of at home science projects.

Kids will spend hours in a sand box! 
Let your daughter know that it's okay to get a little dirty.

Rain, snow, heat, wind... it's all a part of life.  Teach your girls to be adaptable. Go out and play in the rain!

Use computers for research and learning at home.
What is your daughter interested in?

Use board games to teach math, logic and reading.
Girls learn best when having fun.

It's true.  They are what they eat. A good example says no to junk food and sugar drinks.

Teach housekeeping skills early.  Everyone needs to learn how to cook, clean and do laundry.

Bikes are a great tool for teaching kids
about safety and independence.
Someday she will drive a car, get ready! 

My daughter learned to bake on YouTube.
I can't do it all.

Ice-cream fixes just about anything.

Sisters and brothers CAN get along!

Kids need pets.  Pets are worth the effort.

Someday they will grow up and most likely will become moms too, be a great example!
They are learning today the skills they need for all their tomorrows!

Lead by example.  If  your daughter sees your faith and devotion she will be more likely to embrace your beliefs.  Share your hope with her.

Make your home the gathering place for your daughter's friends.
Watch, listen and guide your girls as they spend time with friends.

Life is an adventure. 
So feed the birds and make new friends!
Why live a dull and stressful life?

If your girls dream of being singers, song writers or musicians, encourage them to develop musical skills.

Leaf piles are for playing in, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Let kids be kids.

Let your daughters prepare the food when guests are coming over.  Teach hospitality.

Show them the world. Go on a mission trip with your daughter. Travel helps us to understand history, culture, poverty,geography and so much more. 

There is a lot of pressure on girls to fit in.  Teach them that it's okay to be unique.  They may face rejection in the world, make sure they feel secure at home.

Make memories together as a family.
Let your daughter take lots of pictures!

There is a good chance that your little girls will grow up to be mommies.  Being a big sister is excellent preparation.  So, why not have a new baby?

Sometimes your daughter will be afraid to try something new.  Be the first one to get in the boat. Show courage.

Skills are for life. What skills can you help your girls learn? If you can't teach them something why not ask as friend, aunt, or grandma.

Encourage creativity!
Collect craft supplies and set aside time for projects.

Your little children will follow the example of your older children.  Talk to your older daughter about this great privilege.

Tell her that she is beautiful.
Tell her that you love her.
Every girl needs to know these two things.

If your daughter loves animals try to make room in your life for pets.  Pets teach endless lessons.

If you are too busy to take your children on a picnic,
you are too busy.  Say yes to your kids!

I highly recommended adopting homeless animals.
When you are ready for a pet,
 head for the local animal shelter. 

Choose to be an example of a joyful, content, compassionate, and courageous woman.  Ask God to help you.
Your daughter will grow up to be like you. Children are much more likely to do as you do, not do as you say.
